Professional Journey
Denise Dianna is an oncology nurse not just by profession, but by heart. With over 30 years of experience, she has devoted her life to caring for individuals with cancer and their families. Denise has proudly held her Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential for more than two decades.
Most of her career has been spent in outpatient infusion centers, where she’s built deep, meaningful relationships with patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Mentor & Educator
Currently working in nursing professional development, Denise shares her extensive knowledge with new oncology nurses. Through mentorship and education, she continues to serve the cancer community by shaping compassionate, skilled caregivers for the future.
“By teaching others, I feel I’m still caring for every patient, just in a different way.”
A Heart for the Journey
Denise understands that a cancer diagnosis is life changing. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside patients as they navigate this new chapter. These experiences have shaped her both personally and professionally.
Her mission is to bring understanding, comfort, and HOPE to every person she encounters.
Joy in the Journey
Whether it’s a spontaneous song or a joyful dance, Denise believes in celebrating life even in the midst of cancer. She reminds everyone that “Cancer is only one part of a person’s life, it is NOT their whole life. Life is to be lived, no matter the circumstance.”
