Tara is a devoted wife, mother of 3, and a nurse whose heart beats for the cancer community.
After graduating from Northampton Community College in 2002, her calling into oncology nursing began at St. Lukes inpatient oncology unit where fear meets faith and hope fights to rise.
In 2011, Tara helped bring something extraordinary to life, playing a foundational role in the creation and launch of the St. Lukes Infusion Center, a space where compassion and healing met. For every life she touched, one patient, one prayer, one act of love at a time, she left more than healing, she left hope. The lives touched there are too many to count, but each one carries an imprint of her kindness and her calling to serve. Her work was recognized with a nursing excellence award in 2021 though her greatest reward has always been the impact she makes in the lives of others.
In 2023, Tara brought her gifts to Lehigh Valley Health Network Cancer Institute where she continues to serve as a deeply trusted infusion nurse. Her care doesn’t stop there, she also gives her time as an office coordinator at Slate Belt Family Practice (2021-present) and staff nurse (2022-present) under the guidance of Dr. Michael DePaolo and Dr. Wayne Brotzman furthering her commitment to whole patient care.
Guided by an unwavering faith, Tara is a quiet force of love, strength, and grace in the world of cancer care. She is a beacon of light in the storm. Her presence at LAFF is not only a reflection of everything we stand for: compassion, connection, and walking alongside others with open hands and a full heart.
